Symptoms
Processing takes excessively long or stops progressing at a certain percentage.
Point to Check
1. Scan Data Size and Noise
If the data size is large or there is a lot of unnecessary noise, processing time may be prolonged.
Removing unnecessary soft tissue and noise data before processing can shorten the processing time.
2. Use Pre-Optimization
- If noise is severe, using the [Optimize] function at each scan stage to perform pre-optimization can improve processing speed.
- This works by dividing the optimization process, which is normally executed once upon case completion, to prevent PC resource overload.
3. Processing Freeze (0%)
If processing remains at 0% for an extended time, restart Medit Scan for Clinics.
If a “Failed to Open” message appears, the original scan data may be corrupted.
Troubleshooting
1. Case Backup
Duplicate the case to safely store the original data.
2. Launch Scan Software
Click the scan button to launch the scan software.
3. Data Optimization
Use the trimming tool to remove unnecessary soft tissue and noise.
Click the [Optimize] button at each stage to reduce noise data and perform pre-optimization. (Not available in Medit Scan for Lab)
4. Retry Processing
Press the complete button to process the case again.
