[Medit Link] Processing Does Not Start in the Case Status

After a scan is completed, processing begins. When processing is completed successfully, the case status in Medit Link is displayed as Scan Completed.

Symptoms

The scan is completed successfully and the scan software closes normally, but the case status in Medit Link is displayed as Need Processing, and processing does not start.

Troubleshooting

Need Processing means that the original data is available, but the processed data has not been generated. If Medit Task Manager is running normally, you can click the Need Processing icon to start processing manually. If processing does not start after clicking the icon, Medit Task Manager may have stopped or closed in Windows.

1. Completely close Medit Link and wait for approximately 20 seconds.

2. Open Windows Task Manager, go to the Details tab, and check whether Medit_Link_TaskManager.exe is running. If it is running, use End task to force it to close.

3. Relaunch Medit Link, and then click the Need Processing icon to start processing again.

If the issue persists, restart the PC.

4. After restarting the PC, click the Need Processing icon again.
