Symptoms
- While using the Medit Link application, the software fails and displays the message: "ASSERTION FAILED"
- In the error message, the line number appears to be 213, 227, 262, or 263.
Solutions
Update the graphics driver by doing one of the following:
[1] Update the graphics driver
- Type Control Panel in the search box on your taskbar, and navigate to Control Panel > System > Device manager > Display adapters.
- Expand Display adapters and select the graphics card.
- Right-click (or press and hold) the one you wish to update.
- Select Update Driver.
- If Windows is unable to find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.
[2] Reinstall the device driver
- In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.
- Right-click (or press and hold) the name of the graphics driver, and select Uninstall.
- Restart your PC.
- Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
