The original cables were custom designed for our scanners, so if the cable is lost or damaged we strongly recommend repurchasing a new cable from official Medit dealer.
For third-party cables, compatibility varies depending on the PC port.
The cable that most commonly works without problems is Thunderbolt 3 (passive).
⚠️ Caution
If you connect a TB4 compatible cable between the TB4 port on your laptop and the scanner, there may be compatibility issues.
Broadly speaking, C Type/Power Delivery/USB3.0 will work.
The scanner is rated at DC 4V, 4A, and 15 watt is enough to operate scanner so generally used power delivery c-port 5V/3A is OK.
Scan speed is limited by CPU/GPU, so a USB3.1 Gen1 cable (supporting at least 5Gbps) is sufficient.
