Symptom
When attempting to install an app via App Box, an Error code: 1603 message appears.
This error generally occurs during package extraction.
Troubleshooting
1. Check if the app is already installed
Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features in Windows.
If the same app is already installed, uninstall it and try reinstalling.
2. Try installation after disabling antivirus software
(On Windows 11) Go to Windows Security > App & Browser Control, and set Smart App Control to Off.
If you are using third-party antivirus software (e.g., McAfee, Norton), temporarily disable it before installing.
3. Check app installation folder path and available storage
Open Medit Link, go to Settings (top right) > Apps Installation Folder.
Ensure the drive has sufficient space (at least 4GB of free space recommended).
4. Check for latest Windows updates
Go to Windows Settings > Update and ensure your system is up to date.
5. Reinstall Medit Link
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, completely uninstall Medit Link and reinstall the latest version.
