Symptoms
When scanning a jaw after acquiring its preoperative scan data, a part of preoperative scan data remains as noise.
Solution
The maxilla or mandible scan stage following its preoperative scan stage duplicates scan data acquired from its preoperative scan stage and use it. Before scanning the prepped teeth, you should remove the preoperative scan data for the prepped teeth that you're going to scan, and thus the scanned data of prepped teeth can be acquired and displayed properly.
What is seen on the screenshot above happens when you scan the prepped tooth without removing its corresponding preoperative scan data.
To correct this, perform one of the following:
1. Delete the prepped tooth area using the trimming tools, and rescan it.
2. Keep scanning the prepped tooth more and more so that the system can recognize and delete the unnecessary preoperative tooth data.
