Symptoms
The scanner connection failed with the message "Administrator privilege is required."
Solution
Ensure that the basic troubleshooting steps are followed as described in the article below.
T710/T510/T310 > Cannot connect to the tabletop scanner.
The aforementioned issue may occur if the scanner device does not have enough time to boot. Try the following actions.
1. Turn off the scanner and unplug all of the cables.
2. Reconnect the cable, power on the scanner, and wait 3-5 minutes.
3. Start the Medit Scan for Labs program and the scanner.
- Wait for the PC to recognize the scanner before clicking the "Scanner Connection" button.
