Scanner connection issues when connecting an internet cable and a scanner to USB ports using the same chipset.

Symptoms

If a LAN cable is connected to one of multiple USB ports using the same chipset via a USB Ethernet Adapter and a Medit TX10 scanner is also connected, the scanner connection may fail.

Solutions

If devices are connected as described above, communication speed may be reduced due to power resource distribution issues to the corresponding multiple ports, resulting in USB 2.0 connection errors or scanner connection failures. Therefore, it is not recommended to connect any device other than the Medit scanner to another USB port that uses the same chipset as the USB port to which the scanner is connected.
