Medit Apps provide a complete suite of tools for digital dentistry, allowing users to analyze scan data, design restorations and splints, simulate treatments, and verify fit and occlusion.

Model Builder	• Designing fully customizable models • Supports ABO, plate, and plateless models • Adding support elements, articulators, drain holes, dies, etc. • Model labeling and die numbering • Creating hollow-base models or with infill	Design printable dental models Medit Model Builder allows users to design printable dental models based on the acquired scan data. The app provides a wide variety of tools to customize the model to meet any needs. A streamlined and clear workflow guides users through all steps of model creation, from data preparation and base creation to adding customizable dies, support elements, other attachments, and labeling. Models created in Medit Model Builder are optimized for 3D printing.
Design	• Aligning data sets • Analyzing data deviation, roughness, and curvature • Data transformation along axes • Measure distance, area, length, and angles on the 3D data • Mesh editing (adding offset, smoothening surfaces, performing boolean operations, duplication, filling holes, etc.)	Compare and analyze 3D data Medit Design is a versatile app that allows users to transform, analyze, align, compare, and measure 3D data. With it, users can easily create Michigan, flat plane, or anterior bite splints using the imported 3D data. This app supports two workflows. One is automatic generation with preset parameters. The other is manual creation with step-by-step guidance from data alignment to occlusal plane to splint surface design and labeling. Experience the streamlined splint creation with Medit Splints.
Smile Design	• Customizable teeth templates • Metal and ceramic braces templates • Measurement tools • Image retouching tools • Comparison and preview tools	Design smiles on 2D images Medit Smile Design is a visual aid tool designed to assist during patient consultations. The app allows users to create mock images of potential treatment outcomes by modifying a 2D image of the patient's smile. Users can adjust several visual components, including the color, shape, position, and size of the teeth. Additionally, the app enables the creation of mock images for braces treatments, enhancing patient understanding and decision-making.
Ortho Simulation	• Creating animated teeth movement simulations • Manual adjustment of each tooth's position • Exporting simulation results as library data for Medit ClinicCAD • Previewing results considering interproximal reduction • Automatic calculation of Bolton Ratio	Simulate orthodontic treatment Medit Ortho Simulation is an app that simulates the trajectory of teeth movement in orthodontic treatment. It automatically generates animated treatment simulations based on the details provided in the treatment scenarios, such as planned prostheses, extractions, or missing teeth. If needed, the user can manually readjust individual teeth in the generated simulation. The simulation results can be used as visual aids during patient consultations or for further analysis of the proposed treatment.
Crown Fit	• Digital crown fit testing • Deviation analysis between data sets • Examination of the CAD design and final product • Supports data from Medit ClinicCAD, 3Shape, and exocad	Do a digital crown fit test Medit Crown Fit allows users to perform digital crown fit tests before the final fitting in patients. By aligning the prosthesis data with prepared teeth data, users can determine if the crown requires additional adjustments. Moreover, the app enables users to verify the accuracy of their printing or milling machine by comparing the CAD design with the manufactured prosthesis. The app also provides basic features for measurement-taking, data transformation, and data analysis.
Margin Lines	• Automatic or manual margin line creation and editing • Useful tools for precise margin creation • Simple and intuitive interface • Fast workflow	Create and edit margins Medit Margin Lines allows users to easily create and edit margin lines on scan data processed in Medit Scan for Clinics. With this app, users no longer need to reopen the scan acquisition program just to add margins. All new or modified margins are saved to the case and can be used in any Medit software or exported to external CAD software along with the scan data. Please note that this app is limited to data processed in Medit Scan for Clinics.
Occlusion Analyzer	• Automatic occlusion analysis • Analysis through Section View • Realignment to bite scan • Replay of the mandibular movement	Analyze & work on occlusion Medit Occlusion Analyzer is an app developed to help users streamline the routine task of analyzing the occlusions. It can automatically analyze the occlusal interferences between the maxilla and mandible and display the results through a color map. With the provided tools, users can also study the occlusal relationship more thoroughly and, if needed, realign data acquired from Medit Scan software.
DCM Converter	• Convert 3Shape DCM to Medit format	Medit DCM Converter is a useful tool for converting 3Shape DCM scan files to a format supported by Medit software. The app automatically changes the file format of the .dcm files attached to the opened case in seconds.
Temporaries	• Designing restorations based on pre-op and prepared scan data • Designing single crowns or multi-unit bridges • Simple and streamlined workflows • Access to tools for advanced editing • Optimizing design for printing or milling	Design temporary restorations Medit Temporaries offers a simple and easy-to-follow workflow for designing temporary restorations. With it, even novice users can create crowns, bridges, or eggshell-type restorations in just a few steps. The app supports workflows for designing restorations using any available data, whether prepared or pre-op data.
ClinicCAD	In Medit ClinicCAD, you will be able to design the following restorations: • crown (with screw holes and handles) • bridge (with pontics) • eggshell crown or bridge • veneer • coping • inlay/onlay • cervical inlay	Design dental prostheses with ease This is a beta version of our upcoming app - Medit ClinicCAD. The app was developed based on Medit Temporaries and uses a similar user interface, yet it represents an upgraded version of the latter with expanded functionality. Medit ClinicCAD is an easy-to-use CAD solution for the in-office creation of various dental appliances, such as crowns, bridges, inlays/onlays/cervical inlays, veneers, copings, and eggshell-type crowns/bridges. This beta can be used alongside your current Medit Temporaries version.
