Medit apps are categorized into applications provided through the Essential App Bundle and those offered via individual subscriptions.

Depending on service operations, technical reasons, or policy changes, the included apps may be modified, replaced, or discontinued. In such cases, separate notice will be provided.

Apps Included in the Essential App Bundle
Users who do not own a scanner must have a subscription to launch the app.
Apps Not Included in the Essential App Bundle
For Model Builder, ClinicCAD, and Orthodontic Suite, launching the app and using its basic features are free of charge. However, payment is required to export the final result.
Please note that Model Builder is provided free of charge to users who own a scanner.
AuraVue requires a subscription to launch the app.

Medit Apps Subscription / One-time Payment
After subscribing, the Medit Apps Plan is managed similarly to the Medit Cloud Storage Plan. You can manage your subscription through the following tabs in Medit Link Web > Membership.

Payments can only be made from the group's admin account, and Member accounts are not allowed to make payments. (a group consists of one admin and multiple member accounts).
Medit offers both subscription and one-time payment options.

| When using a project file created before the pricing policy change |
Project files created before the pricing policy took effect can be extracted for free as long as no modifications has been made. If a user designs a new restoration or model using a previously created project file and extracts the outcome after the new pricing policy takes effect, charges will apply. |
Scanner Owner Registration
Medit scanner owners and non-owners may be subject to different pricing plans.

Medit intraoral scanners (i900 Mobility, i900 classic, i900, i700 wireless, i700, i600, i500)
Medit tabletop scanners (T710, T510, T310, T500, T300, T200, Identica Hybrid, Identica Blue, Identica Light)
The scanner owner pricing plan applies only to user groups (one Admin account + multiple Member accounts) that have at least one eligible device registered in Medit Linkedit Link.
After logging into Medit Link, connecting the scanner, and scanning at least once, the system will automatically register the user as a Medit scanner owner.
You can check your scanner ownership status in Medit Link Web > My Info > My Scanner to see if it is marked as ‘Registered.’
If the scanner ownership status is 'Unregistered,' it means that the previously registered scanner is currently assigned to another group. Since each scanner can only be registered to one group at a time, if the scanner is registered to another group, it will be automatically unregistered from the original group. If multiple Admin accounts are created and used within the same Clinic/Lab, each group formed around an Admin account will be recognized as a separate group.
If your scanner is in an 'Unregistered' state, please refer to the link below to re-register the scanner under the group account where you intend to use the App.
Scanner Connection and Registration
After subscribing to the app and registering the scanner to become a scanner owner, the one-time purchase price will be applied at the scanner owner rate from the time of registration.
For subscription fees, the scanner owner rate will be automatically applied starting from the month following the scanner registration, and any amount already paid for the current month will not be refunded.

Essential App Bundle
Starting from June 9, 2026, the following applications will be included in the Bundle App and will continue to be provided free of charge to scanner owners, but will become paid applications for non-owners (individual subscription per app is not available).

A mandatory update for the above application will be applied starting June 9, 2026. To continue using this app, you must update it to the latest version.

⚠️ Caution
Non-owner users who have not subscribed will not be able to launch the apps after June 9, 2026, and will no longer be able to access or save their data. (Even if the apps were previously installed, they will no longer run.)
To ensure continuity of clinical records, non-subscribed Non-owner users are strongly advised to export the necessary case data in advance before the effective date.
The exported data can be viewed in Medit Link and on a local PC regardless of subscription status.

Case Converting Tool (Case Export)
- Crown Fit and Occlusion Analyzer can only be used within the app, so there are no exportable results.
- For Checkpoint, completed notes must be finalized and saved within the app in order for case export to function properly. (Temporary notes cannot be opened externally after June 9, 2026.)
Medit Model Builder
Starting from v1.4 (2025-03-31), Medit Model Builder remains free for Medit scanner owners but becomes a paid application for non-owners.

For example, when a user who does not own a Medit scanner is extracting only the upper arch, a fee of $2.5 (€2.5) will be charged. When extracting both the upper and lower arches, $5 (€5) will be charged.
xSNAP Articulator
xSNAP is a 3D Articulator system available within the Model Builder app and is a paid product that requires a separate subscription from Model Builder.

Medit ClinicCAD
Medit ClinicCAD has been offered as a paid application starting from v1.0 and was officially launched by region according to the schedule below.
United States: March 31, 2025
Korea: January 27, 2026
Taiwan, Australia, and New Zealand: July 9, 2026
Following the official release, continuous feature improvements and updates will be provided, and the paid policy will be applied consistently based on v1.0.
The application is scheduled to be rolled out sequentially in other regions in the future, and the available versions and release schedules may vary by region.

For example, when extracting a crown for tooth #46, Medit scanner owners will be charged $3, while non-owners will be charged $5. When extracting crowns for teeth #46 and #47, Medit scanner owners will be charged $6, while non-owners will be charged $10.
Medit Orthodontic Suite
On May 29, 2025, Medit Orthodontic Suite was first launched as a paid application in the U.S., with availability gradually expanding to other regions.
Pricing Policy (United States, Europe)
There are two separate workflows available within the Medit Orthodontic Suite (MOS), each with its own pricing structure. Please review the following to ensure you choose the workflow that best fits your needs:
1. In-House Printing
Users download printable files (e.g., STL) and manufacture aligners using their own equipment.

Example (for one-time payments):
If only the maxilla is extracted, Medit scanner owners will be charged $1.5 per stage, and non-owners will be charged $5 per stage.
If both the maxilla and mandible are extracted, Medit scanner owners will be charged $3 per stage, and non-owners $10 per stage.

These fees apply only when printable files are exported for in-house manufacturing.
2. Direct Manufacturing
Users can order aligners directly through Medit via the app, without downloading any files.
