Medit Link Invoice Information
Medit Link processes payments in the currency stated on your invoice. The amount shown on the invoice accurately reflects the charges you agreed to for our services.
Understanding Additional Charges on Your Credit Card Statement
Occasionally, the actual amount billed on your credit card statement may appear slightly higher than the amount shown on your Medit Link invoice. This discrepancy typically arises due to fees imposed by your bank or credit card issuer.
Common Reasons for Additional Fees
Currency Conversion Fees
If the currency of your payment differs from your credit card billing currency, your bank or credit card issuer may apply foreign exchange fees. These fees are independent of Medit Link and are determined solely by your financial institution.
International Transaction Fees
Medit Link processes payments through a payment system (Stripe Inc.) based in the United States. If your payment method was issued outside the United States, your bank or credit card issuer may impose international transaction fees regardless of the payment currency. Even if your credit card is charged in your local currency, it may be subject to additional fees because it was used outside the country of issue.
How to Inquire
If you notice unexpected charges on your credit card statement that do not match your Medit Link invoice, please contact your bank or credit card issuer directly for precise details. Such charges are imposed solely by your financial institution and are neither controlled nor charged by Medit Link.
Additionally, fees imposed by your financial institution will not be reflected on the Medit Link invoice and as they are charged separately from the invoiced amount.
