The advantage of using the tooth number option is that each tooth number's scanned data is separated and managed as a separate data group. Using tooth numbers may aid in scanning a case where multiple scan bodies are difficult to scan at the same time.
1. Scan the arch without scan bodies.
2. Move to the scan body stage, and enable AI scan body matching to use the tooth number option.
3. Mount the first scan body, select the corresponding tooth number, and start the scan.
- Mount the scan body in a direction that its matching points face the lingual or the buccal.
- Before the scan, increase the scan depth to the maximum depth.
- Start the scan from an adjacent tooth, continue to the matching point of the scan body, and then rotate the tip to scan the opposite side of the matching point.
- Scan the scan body slowly enough to acquire scan data sufficiently.
4. Dismount the scan body you've scanned, mount the next one, and select the corresponding tooth number. Scan the second scan body in the same way as the previous one.
- Repeat the same for the rest scan bodies.
5. Check the result if all the scan bodies are properly scanned.
