Symptoms

The error message "Too many cameras are detected" appears on the scanner status window.

Solutions

The message "Too many cameras are detected" appears when two or more scanners are connected to the PC. To resolve this issue, you will need to turn off the scanners that you're not currently using.

• Go to Device Manager > View and click Devices by connection.
• Turn off the scanner and check if the corresponding devices disappear from the list.

• Check if there are other digital devices connected besides Medit devices. If so, turn off or disconnect the devices and try to reconnect the scanner.
