The computer used to connect to the intraoral scanner must meet the system requirements for Medit Scan for Clinics.
It is highly recommended to dedicate one PC solely to the scanner because other programs that run hidden in the background may affect the overall scanning performance.
⚠️ Caution
-
i500 is only compatible with Windows and is not supported on macOS.
All other intraoral scanners are compatible with both systems. - In fanless MacBook Air models, performance degradation may occur due to heat rather than specifications.
-
To prevent disconnection during the scan, please adjust the following settings.
Turn Off Battery Saver: Go to Settings > System > Power & battery, and turn Battery saver off.
Change Screen and Sleep Timeout: Go to Settings > System > Power & battery, expand Screen and sleep, and set both options to Never.

USB-C Port Requirements
Check if the USB-C port supports Power Delivery (PD).
If PD is not supported, the i900 scanner cannot be used.
The i600, i700, and i700w scanners can be used, but the Plug & Scan feature (direct connection without a Power Hub) is not supported.
What are the specifications of the compatible USB-C port?
