Question
How to 3D print model data reflecting CAD design work?
Answer
Even if the model data was merged with the design in Exocad, the Model Builder app does not recognize the data as a completely combined single data after the Exocad work due to the cement gap created in Exocad causing problems in the area worked with CAD.
- The boundary line of tooth #21 seen in the "Model Builder > Area Designation" step because it is not recognized as fully combined data.
- The corresponding tooth's CAD design appears to be squished.
In this situation, you can fully merge the data using the Medit Design app's "Boolean > Union" function in order to perform the desired 3D printing.
