Are HD mode scan results more accurate than SD mode scan results?
Answer
In general, a higher resolution does not correspond to a higher degree of accuracy. The HD mode is advantageous for aligning acquired scan data because it can acquire more detailed data, such as a sharp edge, from scan objects with few geometric distinctions (e.g. scan bodies) or a narrow area. However, when HD mode is used, the post-processing time of scan data is longer than when it is not used.
