Why is there a white light option on the i500 scanner but not on the i700 wireless, i700, and i600?
Answer
Using the white light source option on the i500 was beneficial for collecting scan data from the red-colored scan area (blood and soft tissue in the patient's mouth). The i600, i700, and i700 wireless scanners, on the other hand, are built with improved structured light performance, allowing for continuous scan data acquisition without switching to a white light source.
