I recently purchased a tabletop scanner, but it is not recognized by the software.
Answer
1. Check that the account you're logged into is a dental lab or a dental clinic account.
2. Users must first create a "Medit Link Lab" account before running the Medit Scan for Labs program.
- If you created an account as a "Dental Clinic," you will be unable to run the Medit scan for Labs.
3. When you log into the Medit Link app with a dental laboratory account, the connected program will be Medit scan for Labs.
- Alternately, go to Settings > Connected Programs > Medit Scan for Labs and select the checkbox.
4. In the "Work box," create a new case, and then, on the left, click the Tabletop Scanner icon. When you click the "Scan" button, the Medit scan for Labs program will begin.
