Splint creation type

The app allows you to create splints either automatically or manually. After assigning the data and selecting an arch for splint creation, choose between Auto Creation and Manual Creation. Depending on your choice, your workflow will be different.

Parameter Settings

￭ Clicking "Parameter Settings" will allow you to view and modify the parameter values used in Auto Creation.

 

Auto Creation

￭ Auto Creation is an AI-powered splint creation tool. The app will create the splint based on the parameters you previously set.

💡 When you run the app for the first time and select Auto Creation, the default parameters will be used.

💡Design Mode and Labeling Mode are optional. Skip these steps and save your project file if you like the auto-created splint.

 

Manual Creation

￭ Manual Creation is a step-by-step splint creation process that gives you more flexibility if you want to fine-tune the splint.

￭ The following is the workflow for Manual Creation:

Overview Mode ➠ Edit Mode ➠ Alignment Mode* ➠ Occlusal Adjustment Mode* ➠ Inner Surface Creation Mode* ➠ Outline Designation Mode* ➠ Outer Surface Creation Mode* ➠ Design Mode ➠ Labeling Mode

￭ Asterisk-marked modes automatically analyze the characteristics of anterior and posterior teeth. Once you enter it, the analysis will automatically suggest results in the current step. Examine the automatic suggestion, make any necessary changes, and then click "Next."

💡Edit, Design, and Labeling Modes are optional and can be skipped.

 

Feedback on Auto Creation

You will be prompted for comments on your most recent automatically generated dental splint the following time you use Medit Splints' Auto Creation feature. The app will take note of your response and make automatic parameter adjustments to produce a more precise splint design the next time.

💡Feedback is an optional feature that can be disabled in the settings.
