❏ There are three methods for obtaining 3D data for use in Medit Splints:
1. Acquire scan data using the Medit Scan for Clinics(Labs) app.
- In Medit Scan for Clinics or Labs, create a new case and complete the required scans. Scan data will be automatically saved in the patient's case in Medit Link.
2. Using Medit Link, import local files.
- Before running the app, you can import data from local files and attach it to a Medit Link case in the Case Detail window.
3. Use Medit Splints to import local files.
- After launching the app, click "Import Local Files" in the Assign Data dialog window to import 3D data from local files.
💡Data import file formats supported include meditMesh, OBJ, PLY, and STL.
💡Use a single dental arch data or both maxilla and mandible data to create a splint.
💡If you run Medit Splints from the same case again, you can continue working on an existing project.
❏ Saving 3D data
The completed project can be saved in three ways:
1. To finish the project and save it to the Medit Link case, click "Complete."
2. In Label Mode, click "Next" to finish the project and save it to the Medit Link case.
3. In the Title Bar, click "Menu" and then "Save As."
If you close the program by clicking "Exit," you will still have the option to "Exit Program After Saving or Without Saving."
