What exactly is NFT?
- NFTs are digital assets with blockchain-based ownership (a digital ledger). This means that no one can change the ownership of an NFT on the blockchain or produce the same NFT. As a result, NFTs can be used to represent people's identities, property rights, and more.
What does it mean to create digital tokens?
- Creating digital tokens means establishing blockchain-based ownership for a Medit Link case. When you use tokenization, you get a digital token that acts as a proof of ownership. This title is recorded and maintained on the blockchain, a distributed ledger and record-keeping technology, so that everyone knows you are the owner and have the authority to control the asset.
What is the purpose of an NFT wallet?
- The wallet serves as a portal to the blockchain, which is where your assets are stored. It achieves it by giving users "private keys," which are cryptographic credentials that allow them to transact on the blockchain. Because wallet accounts are given by a different platform than Medit Link, Medit Link users must additionally register for their accounts.
What makes Medit Link's NFT service unique?
- Medit Link NFT is a dental-only NFT that seeks to provide safer data management than Case Talk's current data sharing methods.
- When a patient requests NFT tokenization, Medit Link clinic users can combine medical records in digital file formats, such as 3D scan data from the dentist's office, into a single Case Talk link and tokenize it as NFT. This means that, unlike a typical NFT, which tokenizes a single image or data, you can tokenize a collection of data as a single NFT.
- The original NFT data can only be viewed in Case Talk, a specific viewer, and can only be accessed with the security code.
- In Case Talk, patients can leave notes and conversation logs, as well as converse with other Case Talk participants in Live View.
What makes Medit Link's NFT Wallet service unique?
- Users do not need to maintain or manage a private key when creating an NFT wallet because of the Custodial Wallet (centralized wallet) structure, and they can retrieve their login password if they forget it.
- It's a web platform, not a type of hardware installation, and it may be utilized anywhere there's an online connection.
Where are my NFTs stored?
- Ownership records are registered on the "Klaytn" blockchain, and Medit Link NFT is held in customer accounts within the Medit Link NFT Wallet Platform.
- Case Talk's original data is safely saved on Medit Link and can only be accessed via security measures.
- Only a small amount of vital data is stored on the blockchain, which prevents access to information such as data owners and the original data.
What options do NFT owners have?
- Medit Link NFT establishes its ownership of the original data by storing and using it. Only the NFT owner has access to the NFT in the wallet, and if the owner shares the original data's address and security code, the owner can speak with the recipient via Case Talk.
Is it possible for me to do a transaction with my NFT?
- The NFT tokenization service is currently only available for personal storage.
- For marketplace registration or person-to-person transactions, there is no NFT transfer service. If services become available in the future, you will be alerted.
What information is stored on the blockchain network?
- The NFT owner's wallet address, hash value, and NFT name are registered on the blockchain. Sensitive information, such as the NFT source's address and security code, is exclusively saved within the NFT Wallet service and may only be validated by the owner.
