Whether you're using Medit Link or Medit Scan for Clinics, the troubleshooting process for the Calibration Wizard is the same.
Issue: Calibration failure before starting (e.g. Can't find the calibration tool, etc.)
[Checklist]
1. Connection Check
Ensure the calibration tool is securely connected to the scanner and retry calibration.
2. Calibration Tool Check
If you have a spare calibration tool, attempt calibration with the other tool.
3. PC Check
If you can access another PC, try running calibration on it.
If another PC is unavailable, reinstall Medit Link and proceed to step 4.
4. Tip Sensor Check
If the scanner status shows "No Tip" even when the tip is connected, there may be an issue with the tip recognition sensor on the scanner.
5. If the issue persists, please share the checklist result via "Submit a Request."
Issue: Calibration failure during calibration steps (e.g. Progress bar freezes or repeats and does not proceed to the next step)
[Checklist]
1. Connection Check
Ensure the calibration tool is securely connected to the scanner, and retry calibration.
2. PC Check
If you can access another PC, try running calibration on it.
If another PC is unavailable, reinstall Medit Link and proceed to step 3.
3. Calibration Tool Check
If you suspect that the calibration tool is faulty, scan the inside of the calibration tool with the scanner and submit the results via "Submit a Request."
(If you have a spare calibration tool, try using it to determine if the other one is defective.)
Issue: Calibration failure after completing all steps (e.g. A failure message appears after calibration; the scanner repeatedly requests calibration when running Medit Scan for Clinics)
[Checklist]
1. Connection Check
Ensure the calibration tool is securely connected to the scanner, and retry calibration.
2. Window Defender Check
Make sure to allow necessary access.
3. PC Check
If you can access another PC, try running calibration on it.
If another PC is unavailable, reinstall Medit Link and proceed to step 4.
4. Calibration Tool Check
If the calibration tool is suspected to be faulty, scan the inside of the tool with the scanner as shown in the image below and submit the results via "Submit a Request."
(If you have a spare calibration tool, use it to verify whether the other one is defective.)
Issue: Scanning or calibration stops without an error message (e.g. Freezing, a crash report, blue screen is displayed)
This may be due to inadequate system requirements.
