A. Title bar
: The title bar consists of the following options.
- Menu: Open menu. It includes tools to manage the program and shows the details of the application.
- Help Center: Go to the Help Center page. It contains various information about using Medit Smile Design.
- Start video recording: Start the video capture.
- Screenshot: Captures the screen.
- Screen capture image manager: Manage the captured screenshots.
- Minimize: Minimize the application window.
- Maximize or restore: Maximize or restore the application window.
- Exit: Terminate the application.
B. Modes
: Modes indicate the current step you are working on. They are subjected to a specific sequence.
Import images mode: Import new images from the Medit Link.
Getting started: Adjust the facial guidelines overlaid onto the imported image and rotate the image if needed.
Consultation mode: Create one or more simulation options in which you can use templates, apply dental braces, or whiten the teeth of the image.
Measure mode: Get quick auto measurements using the Measure Wizard or make Manual Measurements for more detailed measures.
Complete: Save the current project and close the program.

D. Data tree
- The data tree appears on the left side of the window.
- The tree shows the list of data in Medit Smile Design: 1) images; 2) guidelines; 3) teeth template.
- You can easily control data viewing options by hiding, showing, or changing its transparency one by one or as a group.
E. Toolbox
: Toolbox contains all major tools and provides control of the smile design process.
- Turn the tools on and off using the toggles.
F. Undo/Redo
: undoes the previous action.
