Symptoms
Each time I launch the Medit Scan for Clinics program, I receive a request for scanner calibration.
Solutions
Windows Security regulates folder access, which is why this problem exists. Windows Security's controlled folder access examines the programs that have file-changing permissions. On occasion, this might prevent you from using your PC normally. To stop the Medit Scan for Clinics app from being blocked, you can turn off Controlled folder access or add it to the list of apps that are allowed.
1. Virus and threat protection can be accessed by choosing Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security.
2. Click Manage settings under Virus & threat protection settings.
3. Choose Manage Controlled folder access from the Controlled folder access menu.
4. Change the setting for Controlled folder access to Off.
- When you click Allow an app through Controlled folder access, you can add "Medit Scan for Clinics.exe" and "Medit Link.exe" to the list if you leave the Controlled folder access setting set to On.
