With the Impression scan feature, scan data from an impression can also be used for a selected margin area of intraoral scan data.
1. Scan the dental arch.
2. After enabling the Impression scan mode, mask the area to use impression data.
3. Scan the impression model for the selected area. The impression scan data is automatically aligned with the intraoral scan data.
4. Look at the result to see if the data from the impression scan and the data from the intraoral scan are aligned.
