You can create a new case in Case Box (dental clinic account) and Work Box(dental lab account).
Case creation in Case Box (Dental Clinics)
1. Open the Medit Link application and navigate to Case Box.
2. Select the New Case option.
3. Fill out the form for New Case Information.
(1) Patient Name
- If similar names have previously been registered, the system will automatically suggest them.
- You can either add a new patient or open a new case for an existing patient.
(2) The system suggests "<patient's name> case" for a default case name, and you can change it as necessary.
(3) Displays a list of patients. You can add new patients or change information for existing patients.
a) Look up patients by name.
You can find a patient by entering their name or ID after selecting a search attribute from the single-select list. The search attribute is set to "All" by default, and the query method is "Contains." The customized search attribute and query method will be retained until the application is restarted.
- Contains: locates patients who have a specific string in their name.
- Equals: locates a patient with the same name.
- The Search feature is not case sensitive, but it is sensitive to whitespace.
b) You have the option of adding a new patient. The name of the patient is required.
c) The list of registered patients
- The first column contains the names of the patients.
- Gender, DOB(date of birth), and patient ID appear if they were registered.
- You can look up the patient's registration date, case count, and last visit date.
d) You can open a new case by selecting the patient's name or by double-clicking it.
e) You can change information about a patient.
(4) Tags are additional information for your case that can be sent to your partners. Tags can be added when you create a new case or edit case information.
Case creation in Work Box (dental lab accounts)
1. In the upper right corner, click the "New Case" button.
2. Enter or select the name of the clinic.
3. Enter the patient's and case's information.
- Although the case name will be filled in automatically, you can still change it.
4. Enter the expected delivery date, taking into account the work's completion date.
5. Once the case has been registered, proceed to the job information entry screen.
