The Replicate denture feature duplicates a complete denture by scanning the outer and inner shape of an original denture.
1. Create form information by entering tooth type, option, and notes, and then click Save & Scan.
- Project type > Replicate denture
2. Complete the scan strategy setting, and click Confirm.
- Texture > On (Colors are acquired from a model and creates the result as an OBJ file.)
- Texture > Off (Colors aren't acquired from a model and creates the result as an STL file.)
3. Before scan, apply the scan spray to reduce the reflection.
4. Scan the outer surface of the denture.
- Insert the denture to the scanner, adjust the scan depth, and start scan.
5. The outer surface of the denture has been scanned.
- Check whether all scan images are acquired for necessary areas. If not, perform additional scan.
6. Scan the innter surface of the denture.
- Insert the flexible multi-die, in which the denture is placed upside down, to the scanner. Adjust the scan depth, and start scan.
7. The inner surface of the denture has been scanned.
- Check whether all scan images are acquired for necessary areas. If not, perform additional scan.
8. Align the inner surface and the outer surface scan data.
9. The alignment has been completed.
10. Remove unnecessary scan data by using editing tools, and then click Next to start the merging process.
11. Check the merged scan data, and click Exit to save and complete the case.
