The Undercut Analysis feature is useful when you need to calculate undercut regions to set insertion direction by using the Auto Direction function.
 How to use
1. Go to the Tools section and click the Undercut Analysis button.
2. Select the area of interest to analyze the undercut by using the selection tools in the command option. Once you've selected the area, click Auto Direction or Manual Direction to set insertion direction either automatically or manually.
3. iScan analyzes undercut areas of the scan data based on the insertion direction selected.
 Command option details
1. Selection tools
Brush: Selects all entities on a freehand-drawn path on the screen. The brush comes in 3 different sizes.
Polyline: Selects all entities within a polyline shape drawn on the screen.
Circle: Selects all entities within a circular area.
Clear Selected Areas: Clears areas selected by a drawn path. The brush comes in 3 different sizes.
Clear All Areas: Clears all selected areas.
2. Set insertion direction
Auto Direction: The system automatically calculates the direction in which undercut areas are minimized and displays undercut areas on the View screen.
Manual Direction: The system calculates the undercut area based on the direction specified by the user and displays the undercut area on the View screen.
