To prepare for situations where the network is unstable or unavailable, Medit Link supports Offline Mode. In Offline Mode, you can use all functions (including scanning) except for order placement, deletion, and synchronization.
⚠️ Caution
There is no time limit for using Offline Mode in the Medit Link app, but Medit Scan for Clinics can only be used in Offline Mode for up to 44 days (30 days + 14 days after a warning).
Therefore, before running Medit Scan for Clinics within 44 days, you must switch Medit Link to Online Mode and connect to the Internet at least once. If the connection fails, you will not be able to perform scans in Medit Scan for Clinics.
- Cases created in Online Mode cannot be deleted while in Offline Mode.
1. Launch the Medit Link app.
2. Click the Network Status icon at the top right of the title bar.
3. Activate Offline Mode.
ℹ️ Note
- In Online Mode, scan data is saved locally and then automatically uploaded to cloud storage. In Offline Mode, however, scan data is saved locally. When the device reconnects to the Internet, the system automatically resumes synchronization (uploads data to cloud storage).
- Offline Mode can only be activated with an account that has logged into the Medit Link app at least once.
