i500 | 8 bit |
An 8-bit scanner understands each RGB at 256 levels, allowing it to recognize a total of 16,777,216 colors. On the other hand, a 10-bit scanner recognizes each RGB at 1024 levels, enabling it to recognize a total of 1,073,741,824 colors. In other words, the number of colors that can be subdivided increases 64 times with a 2-bit difference. Higher data density results in less noise, more vibrant colors, and better detailed data.

i500 | 280 g (including tip) |
In the case of wired intraoral scanners, the weight of the cable must also be considered during actual scanning. The weight of a cable is difficult to define because it depends on where the cable is supported. Typically, the user feels less than 60g, which is about half the weight of the entire cable. For the i900, the cable has been made lightweight, so the weight felt by the user is less than 35g.

1) Reversible Tip
The reversible tip is a useful feature for a convenient grip when the scan button is on one side. However, the i900 has a touch band that covers 360° for easy operation in any grip orientation, so the reversible tip feature is no longer needed.
2) Switch & Scan
Switch & Scan is to register a single scanner to two or more wireless hubs and switch connections between hubs.
You need to purchase the wireless hubs separately for this features.
The following features can be adjusted in the settings, and detailed information is available at the link below.
-
Warning for External Light (Beta)
Display a warning when an external light source affects the scan.
-
Turn On Vibration Feedback During Scanning
Notify users by vibrating the scanner in case of misalignment, etc.
-
Scanning Experience
Select whether to display the screen more smoothly or acquire scan data with the best performance.
-
Live View Image Stabilization
When on, automatic image stabilization is applied in the Live View during scanning to provide users with stabilized images with improved clarity and stability.
-
Use Glitch Filtering in Live View (Beta)
Filter glitching image acquired while scanning. The results can be affected by the strength of the scanner connection signal.
